Pinterest is dangerous but I can’t give it up

So, so dangerous.

Our story starts yesterday, when I landed on Pinterest looking for ideas on how to display necklaces this year, since I’m tired of having so many of them laid flat on the tables (it takes up so much space and I don’t think it displays them well). This search resulted in some rather incredible rabbit holes, most of which were not necessarily bad.

I did, however, buy some SUPER CUTE templates for embroidery for personal use, though (shouting out The Embroidery Place AU on Etsy because I love the patterns and I’m so excited to play around with them – I think there’s potential as applique patterns there, too) as a result of my hunting.

Something I’d tripped over a couple weeks ago but hadn’t investigated more deeply was the idea of a little pay station for my booth, which is something I’m now seriously considering DIYing, but that idea’s not fully baked yet. Neither is the new idea to make a sign but I think that’s probably an easier baking task than the pay station. Something I’m thinking about.

The problem(?) with Pinterest is that it gives me all kinds of wonderful ideas at a time when my apartment is a mess and I already have so much to do.

And yet, it’s also wonderful for all the same reasons.

So off I go now to think through some of the ideas Pinterest has given me while I make a valiant, if in vain, attempt to clean before football games start today.

Stay tuned for a new project post soon. Probably. Depends on where it ends up ranking in the actual crafting, writing fiction, and other things.
